A Winner´s Attitude for this New Year
If you want this New Year to be your best year,
define your achievable New Year goals. Not desires, GOALS.

A new year has
arrived and our expectations for all those pending goals and dreams come to
fill, once again, their special places in our hearts and minds.
First thing we
should ask ourselves is why we haven´t dedicated enough time and efforts to go
for them heartedly; with the whole strength of our will. Why?
Let´s reflect
and ask ourselves, Why not? Let´s give them a new and reinforced good try. Our
best try.
Some people
reprimand themselves for not being successful and having the life they say to
deserve. My question is what your achievable goals are. Have you clearly defined
your goals? What do you want to become, let´s say, in ten years from now?
The warning is
that the absence of goals is like living at random. Wait and see what comes
next, what will happen… Don´t be an errand in your own life. Take control of
your life. Own it.
The only way to
be successful and build strong foundations for your own long term personal
vision is by establishing your short and midterm goals. They should be the coherent
milestone steps to create your future life.
Let´s focus on
the short term goals, those that you want, desire and believe that you will
achieve in this New Year. What do you want to achieve, reach and become? Define them.
Write them down. Not a list of many, many goals. If you did, reduce it to 5 great
goals. The other goals surely derive from those 5. Your best 5!!! Place them in
all those places at home and in your office where you can face and confront
them frequently, including your wallet or purse. Stay focused.
Also, write down
how you want your life to be in 10 years from now. Write a maximum 300 words
detailed description of your future dreamed of better life. We don´t know If we
will be alive by then. That fact cannot stop us from desiring who to become,
what to have, where to live and with whom to spare and enjoy our lives.
When working on
your goals, your attitude should be that of a winner, a warrior, a highly
successful individual. Stay focused, positive and resilient. Above all, believe
and be faithful. Strengthen your spirit and will.
My friends, time
is precious and not renewable.
